[Financial News] Our government will dispatch a presidential special envoy to Indonesia to announce the return of democratic Korea to the international community and explain the new government's national philosophy and foreign policy.
Kang Yoo-jung, spokesperson for the presidential office, stated in a written briefing on the 10th, "From the 11th to the 13th, a special envoy, including Representative Jo Jeong-sik (head), will meet with key figures in Indonesia and deliver the president's message on strengthening Korea-Indonesia friendly cooperation along with a personal letter."
The special envoy consists of Representative Jo, Representative Seo Young-kyo, and Representative Lee Jae-gang. They plan to convey the government's intention to further strengthen the 'Korea-Indonesia Special Strategic Partnership' and discuss ways to expand mutually beneficial practical cooperation in a wide range of fields such as trade, investment, defense industry, energy, and digital transformation.
They also plan to exchange views on strengthening solidarity and cooperation with ASEAN.
