[Financial News] "You can live with friends, and if you're alone, we also match compatible personalities through room MBTI consultation."
At a 3-minute walking distance from Exit 8 of Sinchon Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, the share housing 'Episode Sinchon Campus' has opened. The personal space within the unit is separate, while the living room and kitchen are shared.
On the 7th, Episode Sinchon Campus, a corporate rental housing, was visited. It is located in Nogosan-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. With a height of 5 basement levels to 18 above ground, it consists of 98 units accommodating a total of 393 residents, configured into 3-5 person rooms. Its location near Sinchon Station provides proximity to 4 universities: Yonsei University, Sogang University, Ewha Womans University, and Hongik University. Reflecting the needs of the 2030 youth, it was conceptualized as a 'hangout for youth sharing space, taste, and knowledge and growing together.'
The types are divided into △Compact △Community △Studio. All types share a kitchen, and the studio type has a bathroom in each private room, while the other types have 2 shared bathrooms. As it is a multi-person room, the bathroom is divided into shower booth, sink, and toilet to allow multiple people to use it simultaneously, and additional floor-specific bathrooms are prepared in case the toilet is crowded. The studio type includes a living room.
Regardless of the type chosen, one can view either Yeouido or Namsan from the window.
Personal spaces are equipped with a bed frame, wardrobe, desk, air conditioner, and storage, while shared refrigerators, induction cookers, and washing machines are provided as options. Security is enhanced by requiring a door lock password to enter each personal space.

Monthly rent ranges from 990,000 to 1,280,000 won depending on the type. Maintenance fees are calculated separately based on the number of room occupants, and the operator bears the cost of vacancies in units that are not fully occupied. Kitchen and bathroom cleaning services are provided once every two weeks.
Various communal living spaces and communities considering the characteristics of young people are configured. On the 7th floor, a 'Focusing' space is created for concentrating on assignments, exams, or personal work. The independent bookstore Steelhouse provides a book curation service. On the 8th floor, a 'Listening' space is set up where you can lie on bean bags and enjoy movies, games, etc., with specially made speakers, and on the 16th floor, a 'Gathering' space is prepared where you can invite acquaintances or gather with residents. This space, with a sense of openness due to its 7-meter ceiling height and wood-toned izakaya feel, is open 24 hours. On the 5th floor, there is a coin laundry, and on the 14th floor, there is a communal cooking and dining space.

An operating official said, "About half of the inquiries come from exchange students, business travelers, freelancers, and foreigners," adding, "There are many B2B (business-to-business) needs from Yonsei University and Sogang University, leading to large-scale contracts."
He continued, "There are many inquiries from those who want to experience and aim for another interesting episode where different lifestyle colors gather," adding, "We are planning various programs, lectures, etc., with residents of nearby Episode branches or Local Stitch branches."
Meanwhile, Episode is a residential solution brand that provides living spaces and services reflecting local lifestyle, with branches located in Seongsu, Gangnam, Sinchon, Suyu, Seocho, and Yongsan. Developed by SK D&D and operated by D&D Property Solution (DDPS), SK D&D's real estate operator.
