Seoul Dongjak Police Station announced on the 8th that it held a ceremony the previous day to commemorate the relocation and new construction of the Noryangjin District Office.
Noryangjin is an area with a high population density and a concentration of educational institutions, which can lead to various security issues. However, the existing Noryangjin District Office was in a situation where it was difficult to effectively respond to the increasing security demands due to outdated facilities and lack of office space.
However, with this new construction, the working environment has become much larger and more pleasant, and it has been reborn as a local office responsible for the security of residents with a rapid response system.
Seok-hwa Jeong, Chief of Dongjak Police Station, said, "With today's opening ceremony, we will faithfully support Noryangjin District Office to become a new symbol of Dongjak-gu, ensuring regional security more reliably."
