[Financial News] A claim has been made that an assault occurred during a meeting held to discuss allegations of sexual harassment by a Jogeuk Innovation Party official, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station announced on the 8th that they have received a complaint against 4 members of the Jogeuk Innovation Party for charges including injury and have begun an investigation.
The complainant is reported to have claimed that they were assaulted three times and sustained injuries to their wrist and knee while attending a sovereignty member meeting of the Innovation Party held at the National Assembly on the 3rd of last month.
The meeting at the time was organized to gather opinions on the internal sexual harassment case.
A police official stated, "Currently, only the complaint has been filed, and we plan to proceed according to procedure after investigating the complainant."
