FactBlock, a Web3.0 ecosystem builder, will host the main event 'KBW2025:IMPACT' of KBW 2025 in Seoul from the 22nd to the 28th of next month, with Bithumb participating as a co-host.
FactBlock announced this on the 7th while releasing the third speaker lineup for KBW2025:IMPACT. Bithumb is a large virtual asset exchange with a daily trading volume (24 hours) of 850 million dollars (approximately 1.17 trillion won).
A Bithumb representative said, "We are very honored to participate as a co-host of KBW2025:IMPACT, a representative blockchain event in Asia," and "Through this event, we will contribute to the creation of a healthy virtual asset ecosystem and the leap of Korea as a global Web3 market hub."
The third speaker lineup for KBW2025:IMPACT, released by FactBlock on the day, also draws industry attention. Bilal Bin Saqib, the special advisor on virtual assets for Pakistan and the representative of the Pakistan Cryptocurrency Council (PCC), is included. As the first ministerial-level official dedicated to virtual assets in Pakistan, he gained international attention this year by announcing a government-led Bitcoin reserve strategy.
Hollywood actor and comedian T.J. Miller is also on the list. Known for the movie 'Deadpool' and the famous sitcom 'Silicon Valley', he recently argued in various podcasts that "Bitcoin is a cultural movement." Last year, he presented the world's first on-chain comedy stand-up performance.
Tristan Thompson, a blockchain investor and former NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, will also be a speaker. Recently, he has been exploring the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain at TracyAI.
Prominent project founders will also participate as speakers. Notable figures include Jeff Yan, co-founder and CEO of HyperLiquid, which accounts for 10% of global perpetual futures trading volume, Matt Wright, co-founder and CEO of the decentralized AI infrastructure project Gaia, Frank McCourt, founder of Project Liberty, Justin Sun, founder of Tron, and Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano.
Started in 2018 and now in its 8th year, KBW2025 is founded and organized by FactBlock, a Web3 ecosystem builder, and will be held throughout Seoul from the 22nd to the 28th of next month. KBW2025:IMPACT, the main conference event founded and organized by FactBlock and co-hosted by Bithumb, will be held at the Walkerhill Hotel & Resort in Seoul on the 23rd and 24th of the same month. Previously announced by FactBlock, the 'KBW2025:IMPACT' speaker lineup also includes Donald Trump Jr. Trump Jr., the eldest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is active as the Executive VP of the Trump Group and as the Web3 ambassador for World Liberty Financial, a DeFi (Decentralized Finance) platform supported by the Trump family.
Trump Jr. has a high interest in blockchain technology and financial sovereignty. He stands out as a virtual asset advocate in the U.S., arguing that Bitcoin can be a means to protect citizens' economic freedom in the 21st century. Additionally, he has been directly involved in the blockchain field by co-founding the Bitcoin mining company American Bitcoin with his brother Eric Trump and pursuing a Nasdaq listing.
