[Financial News] Hoban Construction announced on the 6th that it will introduce an AI-based defect management integrated platform 'Chaedeul' to new move-in sites to manage defects in residential complexes swiftly and systematically.
The newly introduced 'AI Checker', a key feature of Chaedeul, was jointly developed by Hoban Construction's Open Innovation Team and the home tech startup 'I-eum'. It is characterized by the integration of multimodal AI technology 'AI Checker' that processes various data such as language and images. It allows for the management of the entire defect handling process from defect reception to classification and repair work at new move-in sites.
According to Hoban, when a manager photographs a site defect, 'AI Checker' recognizes the image and subdivides the defect type. The automatically classified defects are delivered to each specialized company for repair, and the manager can monitor the repair progress and results in real-time to inform residents of the completion schedule.
With the ability to automatically classify defect types that were previously manually sorted, the repetitive workload of field departments is reduced, allowing for faster processing. Furthermore, the aggregated data can be analyzed to improve the defect handling process and enhance quality.
Kim Jae-eun, head of the Open Innovation Team, stated, "We are currently developing our own smart residential integrated app 'Hoban ON', and plan to expand various services such as AI-integrated resident living environment improvement services in the future."
