Police Complete Search of Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch "No Explosives Found"

[Financial News] Amidst threats that explosives were installed at the main branch of Shinsegae Department Store in Jung-gu, Seoul, the police deployed a special task force to conduct a search, but no explosives were found.
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 5th that they did not find any explosives and ended the search, lifting the control of the site.
According to the police, at around 12:36 PM, a post was made on the internet community DC Inside stating, "Do not ever go to the main branch of Shinsegae Department Store, I really installed explosives on the first floor here yesterday."
The police received the report at around 1:43 PM and immediately dispatched to the department store, evacuating all 3,000 visitors and 1,000 staff and related personnel. A total of 242 people, including the police special task force, were deployed to search the entire building, including the main building, new building, and heritage, under the command of the Namdaemun Police Station chief.
The police search, which lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes, did not find any explosives. The police ended the search and withdrew from the site at around 3:59 PM. 
A police official stated, "We are conducting an investigation, including tracking the suspect's IP."
