The special prosecutor team conducted a search and seizure on the 18th of last month at the residence of Mr. Yoon, who is accused of violating the Political Funds Act, and completed the summons investigation on the 22nd. Subsequently, the special prosecutor team requested an arrest warrant, and Mr. Yoon was arrested on the 30th of last month. Additionally, the special prosecutor team is investigating Kim Tae-yeol, the former head of the Future Korea Research Institute. The Future Korea Research Institute is a polling company practically operated by Mr. Myeong, where Kang Hye-gyeong, who first reported the 'Myeong Tae-gyun Nomination Intervention Suspicion,' worked as a deputy director. Mr. Kim is being investigated as a witness without expressing any particular stance. The special prosecutor team is reportedly questioning Mr. Kim about △the process and cost handling of the Future Korea Research Institute's polling △the relationship between the polling and the nomination of former People Power Party lawmaker Kim Young-seon.
The special prosecutor team seems to be solidifying final charges by summoning the two people before Mrs. Kim's summons investigation scheduled for the 6th. As Mrs. Kim is the key suspect in the 'Geonjin Beopsa Gate' and 'Myeong Tae-gyun Nomination Intervention Suspicion,' the special prosecutor appears to be pressing the two people's statements to pressure Mrs. Kim before her summons.

As Mrs. Kim's summons investigation is attracting public attention, it seems they intend to maintain tension by refraining from speaking as much as possible.
Mrs. Kim's side requested the special prosecutor team on the 24th to △conduct separate summons investigations for each charge on different days △ensure a rest schedule of at least 3-4 days between summons dates △conclude investigations before 6 PM, but the special prosecutor side refused. No further statements have been submitted since.
