[Financial News] Nexsus announced on the 5th that it achieved an operating profit surplus for the second consecutive quarter, with consolidated financial statements showing sales of approximately 9.3 billion KRW and an operating profit of approximately 300 million KRW for the second quarter.
Nexsus completed its platform foundation with the launch of the mainnet 'Adventure' and the integrated app 'Crossx' in the first half of the year, and strengthened its lineup through onboarding contracts and investments in various genres of games such as 'Rohan 2', 'SHOUT!', and 'Project N'. The community platform 'Cross Play' quickly secured a user base by surpassing 1 million cumulative subscribers.
Through strategic collaboration with Pied Pixels, Bus8, and others, it is expanding content diversity and the creative environment. In particular, it has established a structure where anyone can create games with prompts and connect them to Cross through an exclusive partnership with Bus8.
Alongside this, it is systematically preparing the stablecoin, which will be a pillar of the business. It preemptively registered the name KRWx on the BNB Chain and applied for trademark rights, enhancing execution power by establishing a dedicated organization and recruiting professional personnel.
Additionally, as a financial strategy, it adopted a treasury strategy to balance Bitcoin (BTC) and stablecoins at a 50:50 ratio, and on the 5th, Nexsus resolved to purchase 3 billion KRW worth of Bitcoin through the board of directors.
The Cross Coin has started trading on domestic exchanges Korbit and Coinone, following global exchanges Binance Alpha and Bitget, completing the platform economy structure where games and tokens are connected. Accordingly, Nexsus will accelerate the advancement of the Cross platform from the second half of the year.
Recently, it opened the teaser page for 'Rohan 2' and announced the onboarding schedule for 'Pixel Heroes Adventure'. Additionally, it is strengthening global competitiveness by making a strategic investment in a blockchain SLG genre development company founded by an S-grade developer from China's NetEase.
CEO Hyunguk Jang said, “We have secured the platform lineup through developer investments and partnerships, and established the foundation for the stablecoin business,” adding, “We will strengthen platform competitiveness with game onboarding and the stablecoin business as the two pillars.”
