[Financial News] To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding, the police uniform improvement project allows field police officers and citizens to directly express their opinions.
The Korean National Police Agency announced on the 5th that it will hold physical and online evaluation sessions for field police officers and citizens until the 11th. This is a measure to expand the demonstration sessions that have been conducted across 18 provincial police agencies nationwide until today.
In the demonstration sessions that have been ongoing since the 24th of last month, harsh criticisms were poured out by police officers who saw the new work uniform. Complaints were also raised that there was no proper channel for field police officers to express their opinions during the uniform improvement process. Although the Korean National Police Agency explained that they would reflect opinions through briefings, the controversy did not subside, so they decided to directly listen to opinions online as well.
After the evaluation sessions conducted at 18 provincial police agencies, a citizen evaluation session will be held in the main auditorium of the Korean National Police Agency on the 11th. The online evaluation session will be conducted from the 6th to the 12th for police and citizens.
By accessing the Korean National Police Agency's website or social networking services (SNS), you can view and evaluate prototype photos. During the online evaluation session period, you can also participate in surveys and express opinions on police uniform improvements on the public communication platform 'Everyone's Square'.
The results of the evaluation session will be announced on the 18th. The selected prototype (proposal) will be used as the basic plan, with design enhancements and trial wear conducted. The final model will be unveiled on 'Police Day' on October 21st.
