[Financial News] An 80-year-old man who poured gasoline in front of Seoul National University Hospital was caught by the police.
Seoul Hyehwa Police Station announced on the 4th that they had booked an 80-year-old man, Mr. A, on charges of public intimidation.
Mr. A is accused of pouring gasoline on the passage in front of Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 9:50 a.m. on the 30th of last month.
At that time, it was confirmed that he demanded the police be called while pouring gasoline.
The police, who were dispatched upon receiving the report, arrested Mr. A on the spot and confiscated the gasoline can he possessed. Mr. A stated that he did not possess flammable materials like lighters and had no intention to ignite.
The police applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, but it was dismissed.
