L'Oreal Korea Appoints Rodrigo Pizarro as New CEO

Rodrigo Pizarro, the new CEO, is a veteran executive in the cosmetics industry who has held various leadership roles within the L'Oreal Group for a total of 32 years. After joining L'Oreal Portugal in 1993, he achieved outstanding business results in various markets within the L'Oreal Group, including Europe, South America, and Asia-Pacific.
He has held the position of head of the Consumer Beauty Division (CPD) in Venezuela and Hungary, and served as the head of branches in Venezuela, Portugal, Australia, and New Zealand. During his tenure as head of L'Oreal Australia and New Zealand, he led the digital transformation and data analysis innovation across the organization, building a new digital business model based on data and AI, achieving unprecedented growth.
In 2023, as the Chief Transformation Officer for the L'Oreal Group's South Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa (SAPMENA) region, he strengthened the data-driven decision-making structure across commercial, marketing, and operations, contributing to the significant development of the L'Oreal SAPMENA region.
