Establishing cooperative relations in architectural design and real estate development projects
Heerim announced on the 4th that they signed a memorandum of understanding for a strategic partnership with Marko Group in Georgia on July 29.
Marko Group is one of the top 5 investment companies in Georgia, based in Türkiye and Azerbaijan, and operates various businesses including construction, tourism, hotels, furniture manufacturing and retail, and restaurant businesses.
The Georgian government is planning to order a soccer-specific stadium with a capacity of about 70,000 seats to host the UEFA Champions League final and is planning large-scale infrastructure improvements such as the expansion of Kutaisi Airport and the construction of a new Tbilisi Airport.
With the MOU with Heerim, Marko Group decided to actively cooperate in large-scale infrastructure projects such as stadiums and airports being promoted in Georgia. Heerim has conducted concept design for a large development project in Batumi, a Black Sea coastal city in Georgia, and design review services for the Tbilisi Ice Arena, and is currently pursuing the design of a 5-star hotel and residence in the center of Tbilisi. They also plan to cooperate in the Marko City development project, which is currently under construction and involves approximately 4,000 households.
Georgia is a country located at the boundary of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, geographically belonging to Asia but often classified as part of Europe due to its cultural and political characteristics. It is rapidly growing centered on the tourism industry and is attracting global attention with its excellent natural environment and diverse culture.
Emin Uçar, Chairman of Marko Group, said, "Heerim is a company with extensive international experience in design and project management, and we have successfully collaborated in the gold plant project in Azerbaijan."
