[Exclusive] 'Introduction of Euro Techno in Korea' E.O.S Member Kang Rin Passes Away

[Financial News] Kang Rin (real name Kang In-gu), a member of the group E.O.S (I.O.S) who debuted in 1993 and hit songs such as 'Dream, Fantasy, and Illusion', 'Each One's Way', and 'You're Not a Stranger', passed away at the age of 58.
According to the entertainment industry and police on the 3rd, the deceased Mr. Kang was found dead at a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 31st of last month. It was confirmed that there were no signs of foul play. 
Mr. Kang, a member of E.O.S, who was debuted by Mr. Kim Kwang-soo, known as the 'Midas Touch' of the entertainment industry, was born in Seoul in 1967 and led the group with Mr. Kim Hyung-jung (vocals) and Mr. Ko Seok-young (guitar).
He was in charge of keyboards on the first regular album of E.O.S and was involved in producing the 2nd and 3rd albums. At the time, E.O.S gained attention by presenting Euro techno music, which was not well known in Korea. 
After leaving E.O.S, Mr. Kang formed a group called Lyn O&X in 1995 and released an album, then worked as a producer under 'Yedang Sound', producing albums for rock bands such as Marie Jane and Zett.
Fellow member Mr. Kim Hyung-jung also released hit songs such as 'She Laughs' and 'I Guess So' after their separation, and in 2002, he was active as a guest singer in the one-man group 'Toy', where famous composer Mr. Yoo Hee-yeol created the songs and guest vocalists sang.
