[Financial News] Hyundai AutoEver announced on the 3rd that it has acquired the global information security certification TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment eXchange) in the mobility sector.
Hyundai AutoEver obtained AL3 (Assessment level 3) in the areas of △Prototype Protection △Information Security. TISAX's evaluation levels are divided into three stages: △AL1 △AL2 △AL3. AL3 is the highest evaluation level. TISAX is operated by the European Network Exchange (ENX) and utilizes the evaluation criteria created by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
This TISAX certification means that Hyundai AutoEver possesses a global level security system. When transmitting developed vehicle software (SW) core technology to customers, it follows an export policy and separate security process according to the type of customer.
With this certification, Hyundai AutoEver has also secured global market competitiveness.
Previously, Hyundai AutoEver has maintained the ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) certification for over 20 years. The ISO 27001 certification is an international standard certification in the field of information security established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
Choi Won-hyuk, Executive Director of Hyundai AutoEver Cybersecurity Division, emphasized, “Based on this TISAX certification, we will further strengthen a security system that customers can trust.”
