"Unlimited Data for 2 Hours a Day" KT Launches 'Data Free'

[Financial News] KT announced on the 1st that it has launched a customized service 'My Choice 2-Hour Data Free' that allows customers to use unlimited data for 2 hours a day at their desired time.
This product allows customers to set their desired 2 hours of the day and use data freely without speed or capacity limits during that time. It is especially designed to provide practical benefits to customers whose data usage is concentrated during specific times, such as video streaming, online lectures, and mobile games during commuting hours.
According to KT's big data analysis, more than 20% of customers' total daily mobile data usage is concentrated during commuting hours.
This product enables rational consumption by allowing customers to focus data usage only during necessary times, maximizing the value of data usage in daily life.
My Choice 2-Hour Data Free is offered at a monthly fee of 9,900 won. To commemorate the launch, customers who subscribe by October 31, 2025, can use it for 990 won per month until December 31, 2025.
The promotion is available for KT 5G plans (monthly 37,000 won to less than 80,000 won) and Yogo plans (monthly 30,000 won to less than 61,000 won) users.
This promotion will automatically end on January 1, 2026. Usage will be discontinued without a separate cancellation request, so there is no additional cost burden. The basic data allowance of the existing plan will be deducted during times outside the set 2 hours.
