[Exclusive] Fire at Restaurant Building Near Apgujeong Hyundai Apartment... No Casualties

[Financial News] A fire broke out on the morning of the 1st at a restaurant building opposite Hyundai Apartment in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
According to the police and fire authorities on the 1st, a fire report was received at around 9:35 a.m., and Gangnam Fire Station mobilized 21 fire trucks to carry out extinguishing operations.
The fire was confirmed to have been caused by a short circuit in the air conditioner outdoor unit installed on the roof of the Elephant Shopping Center (3-story building) in Apgujeong-dong.
The fire was completely extinguished at around 10:40 a.m., about an hour later, and Korea Electric Power Corporation is currently taking follow-up measures. Fortunately, there were no casualties or property damage.
The fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
