[Financial News] Daejeon City has embarked on unique promotions using city buses to spread the atmosphere of the '2025 Daejeon Midnight Festival' throughout the city.
Daejeon City announced on the 1st that from the 28th of last month, it has attached banners featuring Daejeon's representative character 'Kumdori' to the exterior of buses on major main routes to promote the Midnight Festival.
The city bus banner promotion was planned in cooperation with the Daejeon City Bus Transport Association to allow citizens to naturally encounter the festival in their daily lives.
Nam Si-deok, Director of Transportation for Daejeon City, said, "This promotion using city buses is an effective means to publicize the festival in the daily lives closest to citizens," adding, "Please check the route changes in advance to avoid inconvenience due to traffic control during the festival period."
Meanwhile, during the festival period, some city bus routes will be adjusted to ensure smooth event operation and citizen safety. From the 6th to the 17th, buses will not stop at the Jungang-ro area stops, and a total of 29 routes, including express routes 1, 2, 4, 101, and 103, will detour via Daehyeong-ro, Bomun-ro, Uam-ro, and Daejeon-ro.
Detailed information on detour routes and non-stop temporary stops can be found on the Daejeon City website and at each stop's notice.
