HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering "Achieved 70% of This Year's Order Target..10.58 Billion Dollars" [Conference Call]

[Financial News] HD Hyundai's shipbuilding intermediate holding company, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, announced through a conference call on the 31st that "70% of this year's order target of 15.02 billion dollars has already been achieved, and the goal is within reach. The order backlog is also stable."
According to Kang Jae-ho, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Marketing at HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, the company's orders in the first half of this year include 29 ships for HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, 19 ships for HD Hyundai Samho, 28 ships for HD Hyundai Mipo, and 3 ships for HD Hyundai Philippines, totaling 78 ships.
HD Hyundai Heavy Industries secured orders for 20 container ships, HD Hyundai Samho for 5 LNG carriers, and HD Hyundai Mipo for 6 LNG bunkering vessels.
Executive Vice President Kang explained, "Due to the shipping industry's need to replace aging fleets, the order volume will be stable."
