[Financial News] KOSPI is maintaining a downward trend amid institutional net selling during the session.
As of 12:08 PM on the 31st, KOSPI is trading at 3244.22, down 10.25p (0.31%) from the previous trading day.
On this day, KOSPI started trading at 3275.78, up 21.31p (0.65%) from the previous day.
In the stock market, institutions are selling 629.9 billion won worth. On the other hand, individuals are buying 448 billion won, and foreigners are buying 96.7 billion won worth.
Major companies by market capitalization are generally on a downward trend. Samsung Electronics is trading at 71,300 won, down 1.79% from the previous day, and LG Energy Solution is also weak by 0.51%. However, SK Hynix is maintaining a strong trend of 3%.
By industry, distribution (-2.57%), electricity/gas (-2.52%), and pharmaceuticals (-1.70%) are weak. On the other hand, entertainment/culture (2.32%) and non-metallic (1.43%) are on the rise.
