[Financial News] KCC is contributing to the renovation of welfare facilities in the Ulsan area, continuing its industry-linked social contribution.
KCC announced on the 31st that it conducted maintenance painting at the Ulsan Sunflower Center on the 29th. It plans to improve the environment of a total of 4 welfare facilities, including Suyeon 24-Hour Daycare Center, Milal's House, and Anayul Disabled Protection Workshop.
This activity is part of a public-private partnership social contribution with KCC, Ulsan City Hall, and the Community Chest of Korea. As the only private company, KCC is continuing its participation for the third time this year, striving to create a clean and pleasant welfare facility environment.
In this project, Ulsan City is responsible for developing and supporting the design of the region's unique color. The Community Chest of Korea oversees the recruitment of institutions to support. KCC sponsors high-quality paint for building painting, and the Happy Sharing Volunteer Group, composed of employees, carried out the painting.
The paint sponsored by KCC includes 'Forest All-in-One', which has obtained Ulsan building color quality certification, water-based paint 'Forest KS1 Grade Exterior', and heat-insulating paint 'Spotan Topcoat'. It effectively prevents cracks and corrosion on the exterior walls of welfare facilities based on excellent anti-corrosion performance and weather resistance. It is also expected to reduce energy consumption by lowering the rise in internal temperature of buildings during the summer.
Seunghee Cho, General Manager of KCC Ulsan Sales Office, said, "This project is meaningful in that it not only involves simple facility painting but also enhances the safety and comfort of welfare facilities by utilizing architectural colors symbolizing Ulsan and our high-performance products," adding, "We will continue to provide products and technology to places that are essential to the local community."
