[Financial News] Thinkware subsidiary Ainavi Systems announced on the 31st that it has entered into a strategic partnership with global connected car solution company Geotab to jointly develop and supply AI-based smart control solutions targeting the domestic market.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to introduce a next-generation vehicle management system (FMS) that combines Geotab's connected car terminal and cloud data analysis platform with Ainavi Systems' domestic terrain-specialized map engine and AI-based transport management system (TMS) integration technology.
Geotab is a global leader in FMS, operating over 4.5 million connected vehicles in more than 160 countries worldwide, including North America, Europe, and Asia. It has strengths in improving vehicle operation efficiency and driver safety with its data analysis capabilities and API-based open platform.
Ainavi Systems has been providing customized services for special vehicle groups such as refrigerated and waste transport based on its precision local map engine, TMS integration API, and real-time temperature and humidity monitoring technology. Recently, it has been commercializing AI-based route optimization and real-time control technology across industries.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to supply an AI-integrated FMS platform in Korea equipped with functions such as △insurance and risk analysis based on driving habits △energy efficiency analysis △real-time traffic response route auto-adjustment. They also plan to expand the application to various industries by building a cloud-based SaaS vehicle operation management service for logistics companies, cold chain distributors, waste transport companies, and transportation companies.
A representative from the two companies emphasized, “This collaboration signifies the full-scale commercialization of an intelligent vehicle control service optimized for the Korean market, beyond a simple technology partnership,” and added, “It will be a turning point in diversifying the technology standards of the domestic FMS market and reshaping the platform ecosystem through the combination of global technology and local data.”
