[Financial News] Kwangdong Pharmaceutical announced on the 30th that it has been selected as the preferred negotiation partner in the 'Jeju Samdasoo Jeju Island Outsourced Sales Public Bid' conducted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation.

This project is to select an outsourced sales company responsible for the nationwide distribution of major products such as Jeju Samdasoo produced by Jeju Development Corporation, with the project period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029, totaling 4 years.
Kwangdong Pharmaceutical, selected as the preferred negotiation partner, will supply and sell Jeju Development Corporation products through nationwide distribution channels excluding Jeju Island, including large discount stores, convenience stores, SSM (Super Supermarkets), Hanaro Mart, online malls, and B2B both online and offline.
This is the fourth partnership with Jeju Development Corporation. Kwangdong Pharmaceutical has been in charge of the distribution of Jeju Samdasoo outside Jeju Island since 2012 and has been selected as the outsourced sales company again in 2017 and 2021, successfully winning the contract for the 4th consecutive time.
It is evaluated that it has contributed to distribution stability and market expansion based on a nationwide distribution network and marketing organization. As of the first quarter of this year, Jeju Samdasoo maintains the top position with a 40.7% market share in the domestic bottled water market.
The company plans to sign a contract after detailed negotiations with Jeju Development Corporation and start the full-scale business from January next year.
A representative from Kwangdong Pharmaceutical said, "We have continued our partnership with Jeju Development Corporation based on accumulated distribution experience, organizational strength, and a deep understanding of the brand and market," adding, "We will do our best to enhance the brand value of Jeju Samdasoo as well as improve consumer convenience and accessibility."
