Kolon Life Science Leads Corporate Culture Balancing Work and Family

[Financial News] Kolon Life Science's Chungju plant obtained the 'Women-Friendly Company' certification from Chungju City, Chungbuk, and held an official plaque ceremony on the 30th. This certification is the result of Kolon Life Science's efforts to build a sustainable organizational culture and improve the working environment centered on female employees being recognized externally.
Kolon Life Science achieved this certification by obtaining high scores in the evaluation of the 'Gender Equality Organizational Culture Formation' and 'Work-Family Balance Support System Establishment' through △ various maternity protection systems △ efforts to promote female employment △ provision of self-development opportunities △ operation of flexible working systems △ hosting family unit in-house events.
As a follow-up measure to this certification, Chungju City supported Kolon Life Science with a budget for improving the environment of women's convenience facilities. Kolon Life Science also completed the construction of a pleasant working environment by investing additional internal budget to recently complete the improvement work of women's exclusive rest areas.

Meanwhile, Kolon Life Science's Chungju plant produces and supplies various original and generic pharmaceutical raw materials (API) and pharmaceutical intermediates (PI) such as anti-inflammatory analgesics, allergy treatments, and hyperlipidemia treatments.
Through this, they are continuously expanding cooperative relationships with domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies based on accumulated production experience and reliability.
