[Financial News] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 30th that it will implement a revised announcement of the '2025 Hope Return Package' reflecting the 17.1 billion won in the second supplementary budget this year.
The Hope Return Package is a project that alleviates the closure burden for small business owners who have closed or are planning to close. It also supports them from closure to employment and commercialization in a package to facilitate their rapid recovery.
The Hope Return Package One-Stop Closure Support is a project that supports demolition and restoration costs to alleviate the closure burden for small business owners. On May 29, during the first revised announcement, the existing support volume was expanded from 30,000 companies to a total of 40,000 companies.
The second revised announcement, scheduled for the 31st, reflects the expansion of store demolition costs from the current maximum of 4 million won to a maximum of 6 million won for small business owners who closed after the implementation of the second supplementary budget on the 11th.
Hwang Young-ho, head of the SME Ministry's Small Business Management Stability Support Team, said, "With this support expansion, we hope that the burden of closure costs for small business owners will be further reduced, providing an opportunity for rapid recovery."
