【Tokyo=Kim Kyung-min Correspondent】 According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, a strong earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 8.0 occurred near the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia at around 8:25 AM on the 30th.
As a result, the Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami advisory for the entire Pacific coast from Hokkaido to Kyushu.
The Japan Meteorological Agency advised, "Do not go to the seaside and evacuate to a safe place away from the coast."
The expected wave height is 1m. It is observed that the tsunami will reach the eastern Pacific coast of Hokkaido around 10 AM.
