[Financial News] The functional cosmetics (dermocosmetic) brand Dr.G announced on the 30th that it has filed a patent for the cosmetic material 'V-Booster', which helps enhance the efficacy of individual vitamins.
Based on its unique dermatological research capabilities, Dr.G has been developing ingredients to enhance the efficacy of pure Vitamin A, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, and Vitamin C, the main components of the 'Pure Vitamin' line, since last year to provide special efficacy and value.
The V-Booster, for which a patent was filed this time, is designed to stably deliver antioxidant ingredients, including ubiquinone known as Coenzyme Q10, to the skin in a 'nanoliposome' structure. Nanoliposomes are tiny spherical particles composed of phospholipids that protect active ingredients from external stimuli and enhance skin absorption.
The Dr.G research team confirmed that when V-Booster is used with pure vitamins, it can enhance the unique functions and synergies of each vitamin, thereby enhancing the overall efficacy of the cosmetics. In actual cell experiments, V-Booster was found to contribute to △Vitamin A elasticity improvement △Vitamin B3 trouble care △Vitamin B5 barrier enhancement △Vitamin C whitening effect.
V-Booster, which provides a 95.68% stronger brightening effect than Vitamin C alone, has been applied to Dr.G's new product 'Vitamin C Booster Brightening Serum'. This product is a triple toning serum that helps improve skin tone, pores, and blemishes simultaneously.
A Dr.G representative stated, "Pure vitamins themselves have strong efficacy, but the key task was to stably implement the targeted efficacy in our products," and added, "We will continue to focus on developing proprietary technology based on dermatological science to continuously introduce products that help solve skin concerns."
