Jo Jung-seok, who is known for his comedy acting, has been selected as the first star guest to open the season 2, which promises stronger ad-libs and a 'cheeky parade'.
The 'Office Workers' Season 2, which will be released on the 9th at 8 PM, is an office survival story that oscillates between laughter and reality in a psychological battle with star clients by employees of the advertising agency DY Planning, who dream of a 'salary Lupin' and 'on-time departure'. Season 1 was previously praised as the 'laughter therapy for office workers'.
In the first episode of season 2, when Jo Jung-seok appears, DY Planning's CEO Shin Dong-yeop cannot hide his delight and boosts the atmosphere by listing his award achievements in front of the staff. However, 'Cheeky Manager' Kim Won-hoon disrupts the flow with an unexpected comment. To Jo Jung-seok's humble remark, "I didn't expect to win an award," he retorts, "No one knew, right?" creating a tense atmosphere. In the trailer released that day, Jo Jung-seok's angry laser gaze is captured several times, evoking laughter.
Also, singer Cha Jung-won, who appears claiming to have composed a CM song, presents a song reminiscent of 'Adult Child' by Jo Jung-seok's wife and singer Gummy, evoking laughter.
'Office Workers' Season 2 will be exclusively released on Coupang Play every Saturday evening at 8 PM starting August 9.
