[Financial News] The child welfare agency Green Umbrella announced on the 29th that girl group TWICE's Jeongyeon has participated in a donation for child rehabilitation treatment through the web entertainment YouTube content 'The Appraiser Season 2' campaign.
'The Appraiser Season 2' is a participatory donation campaign where stars donate their cherished items and fans apply for the products they want. It has been conducted for about 3 months since last April.
Jeongyeon led the program as the MC for this season and expressed her gratitude to the subscribers of 'The Appraiser', known as 'Byeoldajo', by adding her own donation to the total amount collected through applications for child support via Green Umbrella.
Green Umbrella plans to use the 30 million won donation from 'The Appraiser Season 2', including Jeongyeon's contribution, to Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital to support rehabilitation treatment costs, purchase of assistive devices, and consumables for disabled children and adolescents.
Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital is the only public children's rehabilitation hospital in the country, providing practical help to families who find it difficult to receive appropriate treatment due to the burden of treatment costs.
Jeongyeon said, "I am truly happy to be able to participate in a warm sharing for children with the 'Byeoldajo' through 'The Appraiser Season 2'. I hope that the warm hearts of everyone who participated and my sincerity will become courage and support for the children."
Hwang Young-gi, chairman of Green Umbrella, said, "This donation shows the good influence created by celebrities and subscribers together," and "Green Umbrella will always strive to ensure that warm sharing can lead to changes for children and the world."
