[Financial News] East Aid announced on the 29th that it will fully expand the 'AI 1-second Summary' service, which is applied to its portal 'zum', to all searches, and begin the transition to a full-fledged AI search portal system.
Now, when using the portal Zoom search service, all users will be supported with a conversational search service that summarizes key information with AI. This is the first in a domestic portal.
Zoom's 'AI 1-second Summary' was introduced last November as a function that provides summarized key content even for questions in everyday sentence form, beyond keyword listing searches. AI identifies the user's search intent in real-time and provides summary results focused on key issues using its own developed search engine analysis and machine learning technology.
The core role in this service enhancement was played by 'Alan' of the parent company Estsoft. East Aid combined its search engine with Alan's Large Language Model (LLM) agent to further strengthen the accuracy of summaries, response speed, and context understanding ability, securing unique technological competitiveness.
East Aid will launch a large-scale AI search transition project centered on AI experience for the entire search service by the end of the year, starting with the full application of 'AI 1-second Summary'. The core is to innovate user experience by integrating AI technology into key services such as shopping, travel, and finance, and to introduce a new advertising model.
Through this, the aim is to capture both service usage experience and profitability improvement. Specifically, the plan is to introduce an 'AI Native Advertising' format that naturally blends with AI summary results, moving away from existing advertising methods.
East Aid CEO Kim Nam-hyun said, "The full expansion of 'AI 1-second Summary' is not just a function enhancement, but an important milestone in opening the full-fledged AI portal era by shifting the paradigm of information search to AI-centered," and "Even the 40s to 50s and older generations, who are relatively unfamiliar with AI technology, will be able to naturally experience AI search on portal Zoom, making a substantial contribution to bridging the AI literacy gap nationwide."
He added, "We will continue to provide an AI search experience that anyone can intuitively utilize, leading the AI portal era and ensuring that the benefits of technology reach all generations equally."
