[Financial News] Hyun Jeong-eun, chairman of Hyundai Group, has been sending summer health food gifts to all employee households for 20 years, expressing gratitude for their performance and encouraging their hard work in the heat.
Hyundai Group announced on the 29th that Chairman Hyun sent summer health food gifts such as Samgyetang and Galbitang to 6,340 employee households around Chobok and Jungbok. The health food amounts to a total of 40,000 servings and is delivered to all Hyundai Group employees' homes, with 5,314 in Korea and 1,116 overseas.
In an enclosed letter, Chairman Hyun expressed, "I deeply thank everyone who is doing their best in their respective positions despite the heat," and emphasized that "the driving force for the company's development and customer satisfaction ultimately starts from all of our health," urging health management.
He also conveyed gratitude for valuable achievements such as △the completion of Hyundai Elevator's Asan Tower △the continuous growth of Hyundai Movex △the largest construction order in Hyundai Asan's history, stating that the company is growing to a higher level thanks to the dedicated efforts of all employees.
Chairman Hyun has been gifting summer health food for 20 years since 2005, establishing it as a tradition of Hyundai Group. Chairman Hyun's differentiated 'emotional management' is a signature.
Chairman Hyun emphasized that a soft and comfortable company atmosphere can lead to employees' 'creative thinking' and 'innovative work performance,' and has continued a path of open communication and emotional skinship.
Every year, he has sent gifts wishing for success to employees' children preparing for college entrance exams, and last year, he held an in-house jazz concert to watch with employees.
Recently, a new improvement was made to the maternity protection room, a female-only recovery and rest space within the company building, receiving great response from female employees. Hyundai Group's maternity protection room has been in operation for 15 years since the building's relocation in 2010.
