Park Hyun-soo, Acting Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, held a regular press conference on the 28th and stated, "The suspect is hospitalized in the intensive care unit, so we have not conducted an investigation on the suspect," thus revealing this.
On the evening of the 25th, a man in his 70s, Mr. A, wielded a weapon at a Go center in Gireum-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, injuring an 80-year-old male visitor and a 60-year-old male visitor.
The victims, an 80-year-old man and a 60-year-old man, have regained consciousness after surgery, but Mr. A, who is suspected of having self-inflicted wounds on his abdomen, has not yet regained consciousness.
Acting Commissioner Park stated, "We conducted an investigation on the 7 people who were at the Go center together," and explained, "No one directly witnessed the crime at the scene, and we conducted reference investigations on those who had been drinking before."
Regarding the allegations of fraudulent transactions by Bang Si-hyuk, Chairman of HYBE, he said, "We have conducted a search and seizure on the related parties and are analyzing the seized items," and added, "We will continue the related investigation."
