[Financial News] Lenovo Korea announced on the 28th that it officially launched the high-performance notebook 'Legion 9i' in Korea.
Legion 9i is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 supports 175 watts (W) Total Graphics Power (TGP) and AI computation performance of 1824 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second), optimized for gaming, 3D and AI-based content creation, real-time rendering, and ray tracing technology.
It supports up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB PCIe SSD storage for large-scale tasks. The 99.99Wh large-capacity battery allows for long use without worrying about power even outdoors. The operating system comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro.
Lenovo's next-generation AI performance optimization technology, 'Lenovo AI Engine Plus', and the 'Legion Coldfront' cooling system based on a large vapor chamber are also included. It controls heat and noise during high-load tasks and maintains stable performance. The integrated gaming software 'Legion Space' smartly adjusts system performance according to the user's environment and task purpose, including custom analysis, content creation, and device synchronization.
The display applies an 18-inch PureSight panel with up to 4K resolution. It supports a refresh rate of 240Hz in 4K resolution and 440Hz in full HD mode, providing smooth graphics. It is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 400 and NVIDIA G-SYNC. The optional 'Lenovo 3D Studio' offers next-generation display technology that renders 3D content with a sense of depth without special glasses. It converts existing 2D videos into 3D in real-time, offering a different level of immersion.
Legion 9i has improved completeness in terms of design, durability, and expandability. The 'Forged Carbon' used on the top cover is made by stacking eight layers of aerospace-grade carbon fiber by hand, making it lighter and stronger than aluminum. Each product's top cover has a unique pattern, giving it distinct individuality and design.
The left and right sides of the notebook are equipped with Thunderbolt 5 ports for display connection, USB Type-C ports, USB Type-A ports, a combo audio jack, and an SD card reader to enhance connectivity. It also supports next-generation ultra-high-speed wireless network environments with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7. It offers a total of four M.2 slots for excellent storage expansion.
Lenovo Korea will start pre-orders in major open markets from the 28th. Among the customers who purchase the product, the first 20 will receive a Logitech mechanical gaming keyboard, Legion gaming mouse, and gaming pad worth about 250,000 won as gifts. Additionally, it provides the 'Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) Service' that supports free repairs even for damages caused by customer mistakes, and the 'Premium Care Service' that provides optimal solutions quickly through professional engineers available 24/7 via phone, email, and chat for two years each. The Premium Care Service also includes an onsite service where an engineer visits directly to minimize customer inconvenience.
