Dongwha Pharmaceutical, New Headquarters Built and Moved into the Founding Site in Sunhwa-dong in 1897

[Financial News] Dongwha Pharmaceutical announced on the 28th that it has completed the construction of its new headquarters on the founding site in Sunhwa-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul (Seosomun-ro 9-gil 20), and will be moving in.
The headquarters is named 'Building1897' to commemorate the founding year of Dongwha Pharmaceutical in 1897. Dongwha Pharmaceutical, officially recognized as the oldest pharmaceutical company in Korea by the Korea Guinness Association in 1996, continues its 128-year history as a national enterprise through this return to the founding site.
The new headquarters has a total floor area of 15,821.23㎡, consisting of 5 basement floors and 16 above-ground floors. Construction began on November 21, 2022, and was completed on July 15, 2025. The building includes spaces such as the Dongwha Lounge and Cafe, where the history of Dongwha Pharmaceutical can be viewed at a glance from the 1st to the 4th floors, a large auditorium 'Bodang Hall' with 260 seats for performances and seminars, and a lobby.
Additionally, the 5th to 16th floors are operated as office spaces. It is designed as a space for active communication both internally and externally by creating expandable meeting rooms, work lounges, open meeting zones, and expanding employee welfare spaces.
Dongwha Pharmaceutical plans to start moving in sequentially from today to ensure a stable transition of operations.
