Naver Cloud–LS Electric, Join Hands for AI Transition in Power and Manufacturing Industries

[Financial News] Naver Cloud announced on the 28th that it has signed a strategic cooperation with LS Electric to accelerate the AI transition in the power and manufacturing industries, and will jointly develop AI agents specialized in power equipment diagnostics and promote the cloud transition of smart factory solutions.
Through this cooperation, the two companies plan to jointly develop an AI agent specialized in power equipment diagnostics based on Naver Cloud's lightweight AI model 'HyperCLOVA X DASH' and accelerate the AI and cloud transition across the manufacturing industry.
To this end, Naver Cloud signed a contract with LS Electric last month for 'AI Agent Development' and began cooperation in developing AI agents specialized in power equipment diagnostics based on HCX-DASH.
This agent is designed to analyze monitoring data of power equipment in real-time and provide diagnostic reports in the form of a chatbot. It is particularly suitable for application in actual industrial sites as it is designed as an on-premise AI structure that can operate stably even in closed network environments, according to Naver Cloud.
In addition, the two companies will expand cooperation for the AI and cloud transition across the manufacturing industry. LS Electric plans to transition its core smart factory solutions, such as MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and FEMS (Factory Energy Management System), to a cloud environment and actively explore new business opportunities through joint solution planning.
