[Financial News] Singer Im Young-woong, who possesses both character and skill, has topped the trot singer brand reputation for 55 consecutive months.
On the 27th, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute announced the results of the trot singer brand reputation big data analysis for July 2025. The 'Im Young-woong brand' ranked first with a participation index of 1,011,482, a media index of 1,949,681, a communication index of 1,364,026, and a community index of 1,574,277, resulting in a brand reputation index of 5,895,866.
Compared to last month's brand reputation index of 5,793,433, it increased by 1.77%.
Following Im Young-woong, Kim Yong-bin ranked 2nd, Lee Chan-won 3rd, Young-tak 4th, and Park Seo-jin 5th.
Goo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, "In the link analysis, 'donate, comeback, appear' were high for the Im Young-woong brand, which ranked first in the trot singer brand reputation in July. In the keyword analysis, 'Hero Era, I'm Hero, Regular Album 2' were high," adding, "In the positive-negative ratio analysis, the positive ratio was analyzed to be 92.87%."
Currently, Im Young-woong is preparing to release his second regular album 'IM HERO 2' on the 29th of next month. It is an album presented for the first time in about three years since the release of his first regular album in May 2022.
Meanwhile, Im Young-woong and the country's largest fan club 'Hero Era' are known for practicing donation and volunteering.
In fact, 'Hero Era' recently donated 156,756,000 KRW (140,056,000 KRW in cash, 16,700,000 KRW in goods) to neighbors in need to celebrate Im Young-woong's 34th birthday (Woongtan Day, June 16). Over the past five years, 'Hero Era' has donated a total of 1,168,340,000 KRW or directly volunteered on Im Young-woong's birthday to add meaning to the day.
Recently, Im Young-woong also donated 200 million KRW in the name of the fan club 'Hero Era' to help residents and communities affected by heavy rain. Truly, the singer and his fans were alike.
'Hero Era' has an internal guideline to participate in sharing, as Im Young-woong, known as a 'donation angel', emphasizes donation and volunteering with those in need rather than birthday gifts from fans. Since 2021, Im Young-woong has not received any gifts from fans except for handwritten letters and is known to emphasize practicing sharing with fans.
