[Financial News] Lotte Hi-Mart announced on the 27th that it has started 'Apple Authorized Service Registration Agency' at 89 stores nationwide. This is the first time a domestic retailer has provided an Apple-certified repair registration agency service.
Previously, Apple authorized service centers were located in 21 Lotte Hi-Mart stores, and with the launch of this business, Apple product repair service registration is now available at 110 stores nationwide.
The service registration is operated in line with Lotte Hi-Mart store operating hours, allowing Apple product repairs to be entrusted even on public holidays except for weekday evenings, weekends, and the day of holidays. Service registration is available for Apple's main product lines (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, AirPods, and all accessory items) except for desktops, all-in-one PCs, and monitors.
In particular, Lotte Hi-Mart is introducing the country's first Apple-exclusive 'Pre-Diagnosis Program'. It quickly identifies whether the cause of a product's problem is user error, hardware, or software issues on-site, and if no repair is needed, it can be resolved immediately on-site according to the diagnostic program's guide.
Lotte Hi-Mart is already operating repair services for over 170 global brands, and among them, over 150 are directly repaired through its own infrastructure.
Choi Jun-seok, Head of Lotte Hi-Mart's Lifetime Care Service Division, said, "With the introduction of this Apple product repair registration service, customers can conveniently apply for repair services by visiting nearby stores even on weekends," and "We will continue to strive to establish ourselves as 'the place where home appliances become easy' for customers throughout the entire process from purchase to use."
