Donates approximately 200 million won annually through 13 directly operated funeral halls
[Financial News] Boram Sangjo is strengthening its social responsibility management by returning part of the revenue from its nationwide directly operated funeral halls to the community.
Boram Sangjo announced on the 27th that it is operating a donation campaign that returns a certain amount (totaling approximately 200 million won) from the annual sales of its 13 directly operated funeral halls nationwide to the community starting this year. This program is establishing itself as an annual social contribution campaign based on the spirit of mutual aid, beyond one-time donations.
The donation method does not stop at simple sponsorship. It plans to expand practical communication with local residents in various forms, including financial support for the self-reliance of vulnerable groups, collaboration with local companies, provision of scholarships and funeral vouchers, and support for daily necessities.
In fact, last January, Boram Sangjo donated winter supplies to the Yangsan City Social Welfare Center through the Yangsan Busan National University Hospital directly operated funeral hall.
A Boram Group representative said, "We will ensure practical benefits through sufficient consultation with local governments," and added, "We will continue to operate various programs to fulfill the company's social responsibility."
