[Financial News] The Jungso Venture Enterprise Promotion Corporation announced on the 27th that it is recruiting for the second round of 'Tech Service Export Voucher' to support the export of tech service companies based on innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and software as a service (SaaS).
This project, jointly promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Jungjinkong, was introduced for the first time this year to strengthen the capabilities of early service companies lacking export infrastructure. It is characterized by its differentiation from existing manufacturing-centered export vouchers.
The target for recruitment is small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in technology-based services such as AI, SaaS, security solutions, games, movies, animations, and edutech. Through the second recruitment, around 150 companies will be selected, and each company will be supported with a voucher of up to 50 million won, with the company bearing 30% of the total project cost.
Selected companies can utilize a tech service-specific voucher menu to access various services needed for export preparation, such as △cloud utilization △data center utilization △UI improvement. In addition, the 8,000 general service items of the existing export voucher project can also be utilized. These items include design development, exhibition participation, patents/intellectual property rights, and certifications.
Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of Jungjinkong, said, “The export of technology-based intangible services is a new growth axis of Korea's exports beyond manufacturing,” and added, “I hope this project provides practical opportunities to small and medium-sized enterprises that have innovative technology but lack export experience.”
