Consumption Coupons, Available for Application Starting Today

According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 26th, starting today, consumption coupons can be applied for regardless of the last digit of the birth year. However, only online applications are allowed on weekends.
Mobile and card-type local love gift certificates can be applied for directly through the local love gift certificate application (app) of each local government or at the eup, myeon, dong community centers, and if you want to receive them in prepaid card or paper form, you should visit the community center in charge of your address to apply. Coupons can be applied for from today until the application deadline of September 12th at 6 PM. Applications cannot be made after the deadline.
Consumption coupons can be used from the day after application until November 30th. The places of use exclude large marts, department stores, and entertainment establishments, and are limited to small business owners with annual sales of 3 billion won or less.
The first application for consumption coupons, providing 150,000 to 450,000 won per person, started on the 21st of this month. In anticipation of a rush of applicants in the first week (21st to 25th), applicants were divided by the last digit of their birth year by day.
By the 24th, 57.1% of the total eligible applicants nationwide, or 28,898,749 people, completed their applications. The amount is 5 trillion 218.6 billion won.
