[Financial News]  The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 27th that the cumulative number of visitors to the Korean Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka Kansai Expo, held in Osaka, Japan, has surpassed 1.4 million.
The Osaka Expo Korean Pavilion, which has been operating since April, is an experiential exhibition space themed 'With Hearts', combining advanced technology and emotional content. It consists of three exhibition halls, including AI content that converts recorded voices of visitors into music, eco-friendly activities wishing for environmental recovery, and a musical drama set in future Korea.
In particular, the content that records one's voice and converts it into music through AI has struck a chord with Japanese people who are not inclined to easily share their inner thoughts. It confirmed the potential of AI as a tool for emotional communication.
Additionally, during the expo, events such as △K-Beauty Makeup Show △Hanbok Fashion Show △Korea Day M Concert △Korean Excellent Product Exhibition were held, widely promoting Korean culture. The Korean Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka Expo has established itself as a popular venue combining K-Tech and K-Culture.
Kang Kyung-sung, President of KOTRA, stated, "The Korean Pavilion is a space where the sincerity of Korea's future society, leading technology, and cultural depth are shared with the world," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that this expo leads to expanded cooperation between Korea and Japan, as well as practical exchanges in trade and investment."
