[Financial News] The KOSPI index is showing strong consolidation on July 25 in the afternoon due to buying by foreign and institutional investors.
This afternoon at 2:50 PM, the KOSPI index is trading at 3191.15, up 0.02% from the previous trading day. On this day, the KOSPI started the session at 3184.37, down 0.19% from the previous session.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions are net buying 1755 billion won and 1357 billion won worth of shares, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are selling 3896 billion won worth of shares.
Among the top market cap stocks, Samsung Electronics (-0.45%), SK Hynix (-1.30%), LG Energy Solution (-1.09%), and Samsung Biologics (-1.93%) are weak. However, Hanwha Aerospace (0.53%) and KB Financial (1.11%) are rising.
By industry, IT services (1.89%), electricity and gas (1.04%), and securities (0.93%) are strong. On the other hand, textiles and apparel (-1.90%), pharmaceuticals (-1.74%), and entertainment and culture (-1.85%) are declining.
At this time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 806.45, down 0.42% from the previous trading day. In the KOSDAQ market, institutions are selling 1426 billion won worth of shares. On the other hand, individuals and foreigners are net buying 890 billion won and 861 billion won worth of shares, respectively.
