Yongsan-gu, 'Hannam 2 District' Management Disposition Plan Approval... "Relocation as Early as October"

[Financial News] Yongsan-gu, Seoul announced on the 25th that it has announced the 'Hannam 2 District Housing Redevelopment Maintenance Project Management Disposition Plan Approval' and will begin full-scale project promotion. It is the result of about 3 years and 8 months since the business implementation plan was approved in 2021.
According to this management disposition plan approval, a total of 1537 households in 31 buildings of joint housing with a scale of 6 basement floors to 14 above-ground floors will be newly established. The household composition is △ 986 union member sales △ 292 general sales △ 21 reserved land △ 238 rental housing, etc. 
The project site is a type 2 general residential area with a building coverage ratio of 32.14% and a floor area ratio of 195.42%. The total floor area reaches about 340,000㎡. Various public facilities such as roads, parks, public offices, social welfare facilities, and parking lots will also be created.
Resident relocation is expected to begin as early as October, and as soon as the relocation is completed, the demolition of existing buildings and construction procedures are expected to be in full swing. The Hannam 2 District Housing Redevelopment Maintenance Project Association selected Daewoo Construction as the contractor in November 2022.
Park Hee-young, the mayor of Yongsan-gu, said, "Hannam Promotion District is the core axis of Yongsan urban development, and among them, Hannam 2 District is a large-scale redevelopment area with a large project budget," adding, "We will spare no public support to create a residential complex that harmonizes with the surrounding environment and satisfies all citizens."
