The author, Mr. A, who identified himself as a man in his 40s raising two middle school daughters, said that on a recent rainy morning, after finishing a night shift, he encountered two high school girls with a broken umbrella on his way home from work on the first floor of his apartment.

Mr. A recalled, "It was around 8:40 in the morning," and "The two high school girls had to go back home to get another umbrella, but the elevator was stuck on the upper floors, so one friend suggested just going, and that's when I met them with my umbrella."

He said, "I usually dislike meddling, but thinking of my daughters, I lent them my umbrella, saying, 'Use this and leave it in front of room 000 after use.'
