[Financial News]  During the last 21st presidential election period, a man who pretended to be a Bloomberg reporter and covered presidential candidate Lee Jun-seok is under police investigation for fraud charges.

According to the police on the 24th, the Seoul Jungnang Police Station is investigating Mr. Kim (English name Patrick) for fraud charges for impersonating a Bloomberg reporter.

It is reported that Mr. Kim, after graduating from Harvard University and working at a global company, deceived people by claiming to work as a reporter at Bloomberg's Korea branch while following campaign sites.

Mr. Kim is known to have deceived reporters by suggesting that Bloomberg plans to establish a separate corporation in Korea and encouraging them to transfer jobs.

Some reporters expressed their intention to transfer based on Mr. Kim's suggestion, but later realized it was a lie and sued him.

The Jongno Police Station first received the case on the 2nd of this month, concluded it on the 18th, and transferred it to the Jungnang Police Station.
