KOSPI, Reaches Intraday High But Closes Below 3200 [fn Closing Market]

[Financial News] KOSPI reached an intraday high supported by net buying from foreign and institutional investors, but closed after giving up the gains.
On the 24th, KOSPI closed at 3190.45, up 6.68p (0.21%) from the previous trading day.
On this day, KOSPI started trading at 3209.43, up 25.66p (0.81%) from the previous day. At one point during the day, the index rose 54.20p (1.70%) to 3237.97, marking a new annual high.
In the stock market, foreigners bought 807.1 billion won worth of shares. Institutions also bought 142.4 billion won worth of shares. On the other hand, individuals showed active net selling of 1.046 trillion won.
Samsung Electronics traded at 66,000 won, down 0.60% from the previous day, while SK Hynix rose slightly by 0.19%. LG Energy Solution surged 8.92% to 366,500 won compared to the previous trading day.
By industry, machinery/equipment (2.42%), pharmaceuticals (1.10%), and electrical/electronics (0.88%) showed strength. On the other hand, paper/wood (-4.61%) and IT services (-2.55%) plummeted.
The KOSDAQ index closed at 809.89, down 3.67p (0.45%) from the previous day.
