"Minister Han's Field Experience Will Lead SME Growth"
[Financial News] The women's business community expressed its welcome on the 24th regarding the inauguration of Minister Han Seong-suk as the first Minister of SMEs and Startups in the Lee Jae-myung government.
The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association stated in a commentary, "We deeply resonate with Minister Han's policy stance of 'real growth' to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs through innovative technologies such as digital and artificial intelligence (AI), which she emphasized."
Yeo Gyeong Hyeop said, "Minister Han is the first female CEO of Naver and a first-generation IT expert who has pioneered the digital platform industry, leading the digital economic transformation of Korea," adding that "her experience and insights accumulated in the field, based on the unique delicacy and inclusiveness of women, are expected to lead to practical policies that drive the recovery and growth of SMEs and small businesses."
In particular, Yeo Gyeong Hyeop predicted, "The digital transformation and strengthening of innovation capabilities of women-owned businesses are areas where Minister Han can contribute most excellently," and "the △digital grand transformation △creation of a smart manufacturing ecosystem △innovation of policy delivery systems emphasized by Minister Han will be important turning points in improving the constitution of women-owned businesses and establishing a sustainable growth foundation."
Additionally, Yeo Gyeong Hyeop promised, "We will continue to work closely with the government to fulfill our role as a reliable partner for the digital innovation of women-owned businesses, boosting domestic demand, and expanding exports."
