[Financial News] KOSPI hit an intraday high, supported by net buying from foreign and institutional investors.
As of 1:03 PM on the 24th, KOSPI is trading at 3188.96, up 5.19p (0.16%) from the previous trading day.
On this day, KOSPI started trading at 3209.43, up 25.66p (0.81%) from the previous day. At one point during the day, the index traded as high as 3237.97, up 54.20p (1.70%).
In the securities market, foreigners are buying 585.3 billion KRW worth of stocks. Institutions are also net buying 232.5 billion KRW. On the other hand, individuals are selling 874.8 billion KRW worth of stocks.
By sector, machinery/equipment (2.08%), pharmaceuticals (1.25%), and electrical/electronics (0.97%) are strong.
The KOSDAQ index is trading at 810.41, down 3.15p (0.39%) from the previous day.
