HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, 156.4 Billion Won Jackpot.. Achieves 62.2% of Annual Orders

[Financial News] HD Hyundai's intermediate holding company in shipbuilding, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, recently announced on the 24th that it has signed a construction contract for two container carriers with a shipping company based in Oceania. The total order amount is 156.4 billion won in Korean currency. The container carriers ordered this time will be built by HD Hyundai Mipo and delivered sequentially by the second half of 2027.
Including this order, HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering has so far received orders for a total of 82 ships, amounting to 11.22 billion dollars, achieving 62.2% of the annual order target of 18.05 billion dollars. By ship type, they have secured orders for 5 LNG carriers, 6 LNG bunkering ships, 8 LPG/ammonia carriers, 2 ethane carriers, 50 container ships, and 11 tankers.
