[Financial News] Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Young-hoon visited the Korea Federation of SMEs in Yeouido, Seoul on the 24th, stating, "Pro-labor is pro-business, and pro-business can be pro-labor, and I will play the necessary role for this new paradigm shift."
 Minister Kim visited the Korea Federation of SMEs in Yeouido, Seoul on this day and held a meeting with Chairman Kim Ki-moon of the Korea Federation of SMEs and other officials. This is his first visit to an economic organization since taking office. Starting with the Korea Federation of SMEs, Minister Kim will visit the Korea Employers Federation and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
 At this meeting, Minister Kim requested respect for SME workers and the creation of safe workplaces. Minister Kim said, "Although I am the Minister of Employment and Labor, I will work with the heart of the Minister of SMEs and Startups," and "I hope to create a social atmosphere where the conditions for SMEs improve and SME workers are respected and can work, and I look forward to meeting and communicating frequently in the future to cooperate." He added, "I also request that the Korea Federation of SMEs take the lead in creating good and safe workplaces."
 Chairman Kim, who welcomed Minister Kim, proposed easing the three major labor regulations for SMEs (52-hour workweek, Serious Accident Punishment Act, Minimum Wage) and promoting a labor policy transition that can minimize side effects. He explained the need to sufficiently gather opinions from the industry and reduce side effects regarding labor policies such as the Yellow Envelope Act and 4.5-day workweek, which the Lee Jae-myung government has announced discussions on.
 Chairman Kim said, "I look forward to a policy meeting where we can discuss in-depth with the SME community soon."
